Transport for NSW (TfNSW) and Sydney Trains are operating agencies under the NSW government’s transport cluster. They were established to deliver a safe, integrated, and efficient transport system across NSW and make it a better place to live, work, and visit. METRA Australia partnered with TfNSW Roads & Maritime Services Sydney Trains and delivered a personal storage system that satisfies the needs of their staff.

Employee lockers for employees are equipped with Metra smart locker system, which enables employees to conveniently use their HID access cards and HID mobile app (HID Mobile Access™) as their personal office locker keys.

The Metra smart solution for their public employee lockers enables a user-friendly two-locker key system. The solution enables an employee to unlock and open their locker using their mobile phone with an easy twist-and-go movement.

Staff also have the option to self-assign a Metra Smart End-of-trip locker in the building’s End-of-Trip section on the ground floor.

The Metra smart locker system manages over 15,000 public employee lockers on more than 30 individual floors in different buildings, located in over 14 separate sites throughout NSW.
