In an Austrian SERFAUS FISS LADIS ski resort ski region, there’s probably the biggest ski depot locker facility in Europe and the World. The thousands of smart ski depot lockers are equipped with the Metra Smart System and smart locks, which provide secure, frictionless, and user-friendly on-door unlocking for skiers.

Various hotels, cottages, and other guest accommodations in the Serfaus Fiss Ladis area have a section of rental ski depot lockers in the ski depot, which are available to their guests to safely and easily store their skis and skiing equipment. Each ski locker has a Metra on-door RFID Reader, that enables the guest to unlock the assigned ski locker with its ski pass card directly on the locker doors. It is a great solution, considering guests usually have their hands full of ski and ski equipment.

Smart ski lockers also have an anti-slip surface on the locker doors, preventing the skies from falling. On each two-sided wall of lockers, there are Metra Touch Displays 10, which functions as an info terminal, showing locker number and locker location, enabling skiers to find their way around within the huge ski depot facility.
