The staff and student lockers at Wageningen University, part of Wageningen University & Research, are equipped with the Metra Smart Locker System. It is the only university in the Netherlands that specifically focuses on the theme of ‘healthy food and living environment’. It hosts students from over 100 countries.

Metra provided a seamlessly integrated smart locker solution for various staff and student lockers throughout the campus, used by students, faculty and other university employees. Students use their student cards for different types of student lockers, while faculty and university employees use their employee access cards for their personal lockers, located at the university offices. Metra’s central locker management software enables real-time info and insights into locker statuses and locker activities, giving the possibility to optimize locker use.
