University of Milan provided its students with smart lockers across its campus, equipped with the Metra Smart Locker System.

Students can self-assign vacant university student lockers with their student IDs on a short-term basis via the Metra Touch Display 10. The Multilanguage GUI on the touchscreen provides students locker related information in different European languages. Multiple locker banks are located at different locations within the university, allowing students to get a locker to store their personal belongings closer to their lectures.

The Metra smart locker management software enables the university administration office to have real-time information on statuses, accesses and durations of use of all university student lockers. It also enables easy remote administration of locker users and their student ID badges.
